Product information about: Fixed Lock - SCM approved

The DoubleLock Fixed Lock SCM is one of the most reliable and popular fixed hitch locks for trailers, caravans, and semi-trailers. The unique feature of this system is that part of the lock is permanently mounted to the chassis using break-off nuts. This means you can never lose the entire lock, and you can lock the vehicle within seconds. Thanks to the KIWA SCM approval (number MP030407), it meets all the requirements of theft insurance.

The key features of the DoubleLock Fixed Lock - SCM approved

Locks: Padlocks, Container & Trailer Locks | DoubleLock USA

  • Can be used both coupled and uncoupled : You secure the trailer to the car when it is parked, but also while driving to prevent uncoupling at a traffic light or parking lot.

  • No loose parts : The steel main frame is bolted onto the original bolt holes of the coupling. The only loose part is the heavy Padlock X padlock that clicks into place.

  • No blockage for the tailgate : Because this is an underbody lock, nothing protrudes at the top. As a result, the tailgate of a delivery van or car can always open unobstructed.

  • Complete delivery : Supplied including all necessary special mounting bolts and 5 wrenches (one of which has a built-in LED light)

  • !!! Because the mounting is permanent on the existing coupling, you must choose exactly the right type that fits your drawbar !!!

   Which type do you need?

  • Type A60 : For unbraked trailers with a drawbar connection of Ø50, Ø60 or Ø70 mm (attachment with 2 vertical bolts) Article number: 025-010

  • Type AK301 : Especially for the heavier AL-KO AK301 couplings Article number: 025-024

  • Type AK351 : It is custom-made for the heavier AL-KO AK351 ball couplings. This coupling is primarily found on heavy, braked trailers, welfare trailers, and boat trailers with a maximum weight of 3,500 kg. Article number: 025-023

  • Type B : Specially developed for braked AL-KO couplings up to 3,000 kg (such as the AK161 and AK270) with 2 horizontal M12 bolts spaced 50 mm apart Article number: 025-011

  • Type B35 : Specifically designed for heavy-duty AL-KO couplings on a slightly narrower drawbar tube of Ø 35 mm. Article number: 025-012

  • Type BAK35 : Specific undercarriage drawbar lock specially designed for older types of heavy AL-KO couplings (up to mid-2009). This type is widely used on heavier, braked trailers and semi-trailers with a maximum gross weight of 3,500 kg. Article number: 025-010

  • Type C : is the direct counterpart to the EM350, but specifically designed for the lighter and medium-weight segments. While the EM350 goes up to 3,500 kg and uses M14 bolts, Type C is precisely tailored for braked caravans, boat trailers, and trailers up to a maximum of 3,000 kg with a cross M12 bolt attachment. Article number: 025-014

  • Type EM350 : Specific undercarriage drawbar lock designed for couplings with a cross-bolt attachment. Whereas most Fixed Lock models (such as Type B or the AK351) use two horizontal bolts in a row, the EM350 is intended for systems where the bolts cross each other. Article number: 025-017

  • Type WAK35 / M14 : Is a highly versatile undercarriage hitch lock specifically designed for the heavier segment of braked trailers, caravans, and large boat trailers up to a maximum weight of 3,500 kg. Article number: 025-020
